Hi guys, I've got some queries regarding running a 6-71 blown hemi in a 32 coupe and was hoping someone could give me some advice on fit and clearances.
I prefer to keep the body stock highboy and like to run a hood sometimes. Won't move the grille forward. That leaves stretching the chassis (hood problems) and recessing the firewall or a little bit of both. Has anyone here done it with just recessing the firewall? How much?

    Cheers, Brett

I have a 32 with blown 354 Hemi. flat firewall , I moved the front cross member 2" forward and 2" blower belt, BB water pump, clutch fan. 2" stretched hood. I know you dont want to move grille, but stretching the frame is the same as moving the front cross member. This is my 3rd 32, with flat firewalls, I dont like recessed firewalls, my opinion .1st had SBC, 2nd Blown Hemi, 3rd hemi 2 4s. the blown hemi is the only one stretched.
