  2. I personaly don't really like the look, but the cost of vintage original style 3 and 4 deuce intakes is outragous so I guess it's a compromise many have to make...me included if I went that route.;)

ThrashingCows said it. I've been holding out for the real thing, BUT it's turned into a LONG, LONG wait! The one you show also has to breathe better than a stocker anyway. AND they have to beat $700 or so for one of the aftermarket cast aluminum. Jeff, so many guys have already gone the log route, doubt that anybody is gonna point at yours and snicker. They'll more likely be jealous YOU have a HEMI, and they DON'T! LOL

The U=Fab kits have been around a long time ( well they disparu then came back ) so once it has aged,,it could easily seem right at home

The plenum looks a little small to me. There are a couple people on here that make them, did you check with saltflatmatt? He makes a nice one and i think the plenum is larger. Gotta breathe you know.

I've never run one of these personally and don't know how they perform nore have I really heard anything about them, but have seen a few people run these. There are few Hambers that run Saltflatmatt's kits. I'm sure they will chime in.

I'm with Thrashingcows, though. The 3x2 and 4x2 manifolds have gone through the roof and if you want to run one of those setups and you're milked dry from building your Hemi already, then that may be a good option. I think the plenum should be fine for a 3x2. I would check the volume on a 4x2. Probably okay though. As for looks... that just depends on what you're after. As Littlewing mentioned, Crower has made them in the past, but I think those were 6x2 arrangements with two logs side by side. I'm sure some clever guy back in the day probably did this same arrangement for a 3 or 4 carb setup, though.

this is one of my projects to build. i am going to build a few and see how much desire there is for them. i figure i will offer them from a do-it-yourself kit (tacked together...) to a fully welded, powdercoated ready to run model. we'll see how they do. i was also thinking of doing dual quad's and 4-2's in the future. thanks for the imput everyone.

Sounds like you quoted me right off my website! I know the secrets to making them work, do you? Obviously you bought one from me why haven't you tested it on a car? Or did you buy it to copy it?
