Stick it in the classifieds and ask people to make offers.

Yeah i really dont know what to ask for it. The hemi it came off was in good shape.

  5. i'm no expert, but the bolt pattern does mimick a baby dodge...but they probably all look similar....wish something cool would pop up out of the wood work for a 315/325 dodge....man i should have bought that blower intake.....

  6. looks like it might have been polished at one time too

Put it up on ebay and you'll soon find out what it is worth...

...but you'll need to have a positive ID first...

add the carbs and it will pull a good bit more.

  11. Desoto goodies are rare. Neat piece.

  12. What is the number stamped into the top of the leading edge of the block on the driver's side? If it is a 52-53 engine it's a low deck; 1952 DeSotos were stamped S17, 1953 blocks were stamped S16. Both years were 276 cu in. This continued in 1954, in 1955 the S22 blocks displaced 291 cu in; in 56 they high decks appeared as 330 and were stamped S23; there were also 341 and 345 cu in versions of the DeSoto Hemi. A very few DeSotos long blocks were produced as industrial engines, and did not have numbers stamped into the blocks but had a stainless steel ID place, with the number 19 or 19A indicated...I have a DeSoto 276 19A Industrial engine with the motor plate...cool.

I have seen 4x2bbl Weiand intakes sell for $1000; I suspect yours is a more rare manifold, but some guys want lots of carbs (four instead of two)...on the other hand its a genuine Edsmonds manifold, which is way cool.

I'm not sure about including carbs, many of us would rather handle that ourselves, perhaps a couple of rebuildable cores would help it sell. What is the make of the carbs in the photos?

    Nice piece.

  13. It's an Edmonds 2X2 intake for the low deck 276/291 DeSoto's. It's the same intake I used to make the blower intake for my 291...
