    Scootermcrad's Hemi valve cover picture thread got me thinking about an intake picture thread. I did a search and didn't see one, so I'll get it started. Show me your cool Hemi intakes.

    I'll start it off with the Drag Star for my DeSoto

    I have an NOS, WDS6 for my Desoto, and this for my 392...Offenhauser # 4063, "Pacesetter", 8x2...

    I would guess its cause thats the coolest intake for a 392 I have ever seen! Any background on it?

    It is one that I put together using an Edelbrock xc8 top and a Weiand 2x4 lower section. Although not a true crossram, alot of work went into it. I probably should have kept it. :confused:
     
  16. can someone please explain this intake? i know the pic is small but it looks like a 3x2 setup on a desoto. which ive never seen a 3x2 intake for a desoto. my guess is someone put desoto plug covers on a red ram??

    Yeah, that's a Red Ram intake; DeSotos have the water outlet in them.

  23. Not to hijack this kool thread, but has anyone heard from 39moparfan, the Kiwi cat who knocked up those kool tall deck Desoto intakes (3x2, 2x4 and 6-71) ?

    Ive PMd/emailed him but no dice as yet.

    I u/s he was shiftin house, but havent heard anything....

    NEED that intake for the lung I scored.

    any info would be great thanx....

    Kepp the intake pix a rollin in.
