Selling my 28 Model a Roadster. No time or money to finish it. Located 10 miles south of Amarillo, TX. Started out with an original 28 roadster body but replaced most of the sheet metal. Body has been blasted and is all bare metal. Cowl, cowl posts and quarters are all that are still original. Doors, deck lid, and panels above and below deck lid are new. I do still have the original parts to the body also. There are no sub rails in the body, when I ordered every thing for the body the sub rails and trunk latch were on back order so I never got them. However I do have just about every thing else for the body. So as of right now the body is not attached to the frame, and there is nothing attaching the doors to the quarters. It will come with wheel well patches, new sill plates, the quarters have had patches tacked in. There is one rust spot on the p*** side lower cowl that I don't have a patch for but I have every thing else. The frame is an unpinched, boxed 32 from JW with tubular x member. Rear end is 57 for 9in (has backing plates but no brakes) that is held on with 40 ford spring and RJ Speed shop ladder bars. Front end is a dropped model a axle from Joe Casto, chrome spindles, f1 brakes, and split wish bones, chrome tie rod. Have F1 steering box and column not yet mounted. 32 radiator (older after market for chevy, but don't know brand) and 32 shell. Motor is a 51-53 Chrysler 331 hemi. All stock internals and never been apart. New Chrome valve covers. Gear drive headers, and Gear drive 3x2 intake that needs finish welding. 3 large logo 97s that will need to be rebuilt. Motor is as I got it, I started it before I put it in the car but is not running at this time due to intake is not attached. The flywheel has been resurfaced, new clutch, Hot Heads trans adapter and spin on oil filter adapter. Trans is a T5 out of a Camaro, with an S10 tail housing. Windshield is a Hallock frame, wheels are Chrome 16x4.5 40 style wheels that were built by the wheel smith, chrome bullet lugs and center caps and Coker "bias ply" look radial white walls. I have a lot of time and money in this car but it still needs more. I have not done much work to it over the last few years and I hate to see it sitting. There are many things I am forgetting so please ask all questions. Price is best offer, but I don't have to sell it so don't be insulting and offer me $2500. That just wastes my time and yours. Also if interested I do still have the ch***is that the body came on (model a frame, front end and rear end) it is rough but for the asking price you can take it and an extra 51-53 hemi block, heads, rockers, valve covers, and 2b intake. Will need to be picked up locally. NO ***LE, no trades. I only have the one picture on my computer, I will take some more and post them
