Hemi Progress...

Thought I would share a little Hemi progress. I have had the intake done a little while and I got the carburetors built today. Just need a few small things to finish up.

 

what are the 2 shafts for that go across the top of the intake?

 

I think they are vacuum balance tubes. That is a factory big truck intake.

 

Yes. That's exactly right. They are vacuum balance tubes. The engine supposedly came out of a D700, although that intake is not original to my engine. Mine had a single two barrel on it. I found the intake elsewhere. It had too many cool points not to use.

 

Air cleaners and linkage added. Will bend up some fuel line next.
