Henry J drag car

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by coololdcars, Dec 6, 2012.

  1. Anyone remember this Henry J. It was apparently from somewhere in Alabama and built and raced in the 60's. Had a Hemi tucked back under the dash board!!! Straight axle that looks to be a Chevy truck, and a 12 bolt Chevy rear. Maybe I need to keep this one as it is if it has any history.

  4. OK folks. Like I told ya shes rough but ready. All I know is what I was told. 60's era drag car from Alabama, big Hemi under the dash, 12 bolt Camaro rear end I'm gonna throw in a Pontiac engine, keep it way back, rebuild the doghouse, patch up the floor. Bought all the tubing to put a new stub on the front to clean up things a bit. Have a nice chrome tube axle to replace the Chevy beam. I've been hiding a nice Halibrand quickie under my bench for awhile, I think it may find its way into this one!!
