Has anybody swapped rear axles with an S10?
I also have access to the front spindle with complete brake set up: rotor pads, caliper.
Thinking I could somehow mate it to the front end.
Then I would need a brake pedal setup with firewall master cylinder.
    Any advice
    Thanks

I want it to drive and stop better. Still has the original drivetrain in it.

Mine had an S-10 rear end when I bought it and I did a disc brake conversion using the stock hub, the front springs are the same diameter as mustang ll stuff so you have several springs to choose from.

Only seen two steel ones in my life... one was barely holding together, it was so rusty, and the other was an unmolested original still running and complete, just didn't have a lick of paint on it. Nicer car than it seems.

Can you tell me what all you did for the disc brake conversion.

There is a big difference in width between a 2wd and 4wd S-10 rear ends. Make sure to get the one that is closest to your stock width.
