I have designed brackets for the front spindles on my 51 HJ and wondered if there are other brackets that would fit the 4 bolt holes instead of making them?

  2. The only ones I ever seen were the ones that someone came up with on the Henry J cars website.
I'm not sure why they were made in two pieces instead of one.

Thanks Phil. That is the style I started out with. Probably 2pc to save material.
I have the drawing from the origonal article but I made my dwg with the caliper at a 30* angle.

If you have the design even in cardboard getting them cut on a water jet is not too big of a deal. I would make one piece because it will be stronger and put the caliper at 2:00.
I’ve done header flanges that way and supplied the 3/8” plate I wanted.
