Hey, my name is Chad. I'm from Texas (mostly) and I actually joined here to find an old friend and mentor, but think I'll stick around to see what I can learn.

I'm into all things electromechanical. I've been fabricating since 2006 or so. A guy named Jocko took me under his wing for a while to get me started then sent me out into the world. This desire to learn and create has led me to pursue a BSME from UT. I am a little concerned with the stressing of "traditional" hot rodding that I'm supposed to be engaged in, since I don't really do anything in a traditional sense...especially my hot rodding. I do a lot of forced induction stuff and use a LOT of math. I do really want to build a rat rod when I get out of school one day. Maybe that counts? Either way, I'll wait till I get banned for being unconventional.

Other than that, I've forged a lot of unknown territory in the vehicle world with some of my projects and I hope to be able to bring a useful and insightful presence to this board. I know I will learn a lot from members. Thanks!
