Isn't he the guy who hosted the National Nomad Convention?

You might contact SEMA's SAN lobbying group to help fight it. They have been pretty successful around the country when anything like this comes up.

I guess that must be easier for City Council than going after the drug dealers and gangs in the East End and West Side of Charleston. I wonder if the proposed noise ordinance will cover gunfire?
