As usual, I can't seem to get a pic on here but you all can see it in my '53 album and I can rely on a genius again to post it here.

I tore it completely down in 8 hours.... from driver to parts in record time... I guess a testimate to how good this car is, everything un-bolted, no torches needed! The body is still in original black and very straight. My body and paint guy was amazed.... just sand, seal, prime, and paint!

I've ordered all the suspension parts and have an engine/trans all ready to go.... YES it's a ford! I've learned my lesson with you guys! I gave in!

I'm still connected with the '53 as a good friend has it now, so I haven't lost it to a stranger and I offered to help him if he needs help.

Looks to be in great shape! Most cars these days that are that old, well you already know what I'm going to say. Then there is the car that has been through five different hands and has monkey'ed up or jury rigged something on the car. I think you make out with a great car.

I've gotta say, I like it. I think I would trade my 56 for a 30's Ford in a heartbeat.

I'm using a Heidt's tubular front end kit that doesn't need the strut rods. I have a buddy that has what you're putting and I'll check a neasurement for you when I see him next.

That's a great question for the main board.... in the mean time try it there!
