Finally found a hamb friendly hot rod boat. This old girl`s construction was started in the late 40`s by Lusby`s marine in Annapolis and finished for it`s first race in 1954.It`s a 1954 Cracker Box ,P class(K division built for turns with a center hull fin)
It held the speed record on the Chesapeake Bay from 1971 to 1975 at over 101 mph, powered by full house Mercury flathead!

    101 mph in a boat ?? WOW.
I had a four-point hydro back in the 50s but nowhere near that speed with an outboard.
