Technical Here We Go Again - Cam Break-In

And thats all i'll ever need.

 

Because I dump it in 30 minutes. I use enough moly lube that the oil additive content is irrelevant. It's worked for over 30 years for me

 

Do you not keep the oil used for breaking in the cam in the engine for 500 miles or so to ***ist in the rest of the break in procedure? If not, can you explain why?

 

I do a 30 minute break in with ***embly lube etc oil , drop it, run it 500 miles with a better oil plus zinc additive, drop it,, run it 1,000 miles with additive,drop it, onto normal service. I use parts store oil and put in m own additives.
