I have had these machines advertised for 6 months all over the place. This afternoon I was thinking, "The HAMB folks are a bunch of interesting individuals. One of those guys might see these things as a neat garage piece; I'll share it with them." They've had lots of interest, but no one will pull the trigger because there is no way to ship them, and none of those interested parties have been making a fly by close enough to Staunton to justify a pick up. Last week, I talked to a guy in Iowa who was restoring a vintage gas station, who loved them, but....Iowa. They likely date from the 1970's. They are in OK to good condition, as long as your intent is to use them as garage art, which is what they are best suited for. Let's face it, in today's world, we use OBD tools and these same sensors now fit into a case the size of a laptop. Outside of the HAMB, who even knows what a distributor is??? However, if you have a collection, these would be great as a back drop amongst your cars. We actually had a room in our antique automobile facility that we referred to as "the engine room" where these sat as a display along with engines from the 30's, 40's 50's, 60's and 70's. At some point in time, the machines were painted Robin's Egg Blue and there is evidence that prior to that they were Yosemite Yellow. THESE MACHINES ARE UNTESTED Please note the last picture, and you can see the condition of some of the wiring, and you can see where our reluctance to plug them in comes from. Vintage diagnostic machines can sell for thousands of dollars, just to be used as decorations. We recognize those machines are in better condition and usually of specific makes. Regardless, when your intent is decoration and conversational pieces, this is a great opportunity to have something in your shop very few others have. Please see the photos for further details and do not hesitate to message with questions or requests for further pictures. Obviously these machines are large, and cannot be realistically shipped, so they are being sold as pick up only. You're willing to come get them but want to negotiate on price a little? Let's talk.
