Went to Hershey yesterday and walked around by myself.....didn't cover too much of the area, and some vendors didn't open or were not there yet....but it is the only day I can make it.....enjoy my pics.......
Thanks for the pics. I love Hershey and if I can't go then the pics are better than nothing. First year without a site for you for how long?
thanks fer the pics, just saw this 41 Nash suburban a couple weeks ago at the woodie show in Delaven Wis.
Made it to Hershey 2021...way 2 many empty vendor spaces, Not sure why ??See the wooden Nickels for the change in dates for 2022. Big Car show is now THURSDAY, Swap Meet Tuesday-Thursday with all lots cleared by Friday PM.
Hey Mike, I saw you pulling your cart with the cars for sale adds on Wed., I yelled "Hi Mike" if you remember. Me and my buddy were on his yellow Palmer cart and was on the way to meet a guy that had brought him some parts to pick up so I didn't have time to stop and talk to you a few minutes. I found a bunch of good stuff, hope you had a good Hershey as well!
yes, I remember seeing & hearing you. i thought you said Hi Mark, and wondered who you thought I was. I saw you guys a couple times. Hershey is always the BEST, even if it's bad. got some A tin and small trinkets. home by 9:30 PM thursday
That's what I get for not going to Hershey! I missed my chance at the Weinermobile. How often does a chance like that come along?
And just when I think my life couldn't get any better, a heart warming tribute from a bunch of over the hill hot rod hoodlums and one attractive lady that was obviously coerced into playing along. HRP
Next year (2022), set up day will be Monday. The car show will be Friday. The swap meet will be open Tuesday thru Friday, although early birds will shop on Monday; and most vendors will be packing up, or gone altogether, on Friday. Apparently the amusement park wants to open on Saturday- do everything associated with the Fall Meet will vanish by Saturday morning, somehow.
Great to see these photos, thanks to all for posting. Did plan to visit the Carlisle and Hershey shows once again this year, but sadly international travel restrictions made that impossible. But there's still 2022 to look forward to....
I wonder how many more Hershey’s there will be. I know the crowds were light this year. That was due to COVID crap. But the real issue will be use of the park. Hershey wants the AACA out. Does not bring in enough money. Changing the days next year is just the beginning I’m afraid. Just my opinion. Hope I am wrong.
ct1932ford, did you notice the paving crews on Tuesday holding up traffic on Hershey park drive? They hadn't worked on that for at least 2 weeks before so why on setup day? I wonder when they will get back to finish? And they were painting crosswalks on Chocolate Ave. at the same time Tuesday. Traffic backed up for blocks. And Friday when the race car certification was going on did you notice the sand blast crew working on the seats on the visitor side? And how about jacking up prices to food vendors so most stayed home? But they had their own Chick Filet available. Take away food and the spectators stay home too. Just saying.
