I'm going to pull the rad this weekend and take it over to A1 on Monday. It's originally from there years ago, just gave them a ring and they'll hopefully be able to braze a new neck on it next week. I just need to find a new fan and upper rad hose. Either local at Bowness or i'll pick one up out of the catalogues.

 

Better get 'er back together! You guys will be leading the charge from Calgary.

 

What time is everyone planning to meet up at?

 

Just talked to Scott (owner of the Diner) and he's stoked to have everyone. You guys will get a kick out of him.

 

Doing the rear end swap on sunday, so my coupe will be there for sure!!!

As for what time we should meet, how about lunch? That gives everyone a chance to get there and time enough to get there from out of town, and those of us who are hung over from the night before.

Scott sounded like he was excited about the whole ordeal when I spoke to him on the phone, so I'm hoping to have a good turnout to make it worth his while!

 

James, Did you get yourself sorted out? I have plenty of spares... fan blades, water pumps etc. How'd you make out with the rocker cover?

I'm good to go on the 12th. I'll bring up the fiddy. I'll let Jonathan know and maybe we'll head up together.

I have the new rearend from Matt here at the shop now. So it should be back on the road tomorrow for sure. So now I have no excuse on not taking the model A. If i really bust my ass I may get the edsel back together in time also.

 

I'm definitely game for convoying up there. My wheels aren't the fastest with the aging 216 and 4.11's, but if everyone is up for a relaxing drive up the 2 then great. Otherwise no worries, my feelings won't be hurt!

 

Hey James I'm sure we can round up some guys to make the trip together, I've got farmer gear 411's as well.
I'm just waiting on some paper work to go through then I'm off to Cali for awhile. Kinda want to stick around for this meet though now. LOL

Okay the coupe is back on the road now.
And it's 3" lower in the back now thanks to a Model T spring I picked up the red deer swap meet for $5.
And the front is 1 1/4" lower now after I took out 4 leaves. Plus it rides way way smoother now.

On a side note. This Wednesday I'm having a pizza night at my place with the Rollers. If any of you guys want in, RSVP by PM'n me. We can make it a Delmo send off party. I'm suppling the pizza (BYOB) and blowing out the cul-de-sac so bringing a Hot Rod or Motorcycle would be mandatory! There's lots of room for parking.
