That thing's cute but what kind of dualie and enclosed trailer do you use when you want to go further then ten miles from the house?

Just because I am more than curious, what do you consider a real road trip for that setup?

In 1981 I left the house with 34 miles on a fresh build on my 48 and the fresh 350 and put 4000+ miles on it it 15 days and hit 4 rod runs. No issues with the engine and after the first thousand miles I had to remember to check the oil on a regular basis. Somehow I can't see myself attempting to drive from My house to Seattle, Spokane or Portland with that rig and each are 170 miles or so away.
Every combination of engine and vehicle has it's own purpose, Some we jump in without much of a thought and drive thousands of miles. Others we go ooh and aaah over and cringe on driving ten miles without a chase vehicle.

It's a real pretty engine and I have no doubt that it goes like stink for short distances but it doesn't look like much of a reacher that you could tag along with Hotrodladycruiser and her Big Olds on a 5000 mile in ten day road trip.

Well, I love the motor, but you've got to get better looking exhausts-those look too small. And I like those magnetos sticking up over the top of the cowl even less. Just my two cents.

I just built a brand new motor for just that reason, so I can go the distance.

There's no reason why a TRADITIONAL hot rod motor can't be snotty and reliable. You just need balls and patience. Greater work makes for greater reward.

Haha... A man duh. You just have to be a man, duh.
