As part of a free speech deal that was made with the local TV cable company, private individuals is doing TV at it's worst at night. One guy is showing ****, and he gets in trouble all the time by the sticks in the mud folks.

He claims his name is Mike Hunt, and it makes the news broadcaster that is reporting on this drama saying his name over and over :D

Hi Guys! Man.... what can I say. When I became a Hamb'r...you guys really know how to welcome a fellow! Ain't bothered by it at all! Kind of like Johnny Cash's song when the dad named his boy Sue...just to make him tough and get along in the world! Oddly enough my dad told my mom when I was born that she could name me anything she wanted but they would call me Corky. He got the name from the newspaper cartoon funny paper strip called "Gasoline Alley". Now ain't that appropriate!

By the way, I will be at the Hot Rod Reunion in Bowling Green, so you guys come by and see me. I got the best job in the world. I earn my livin dealin with the best folks in the world: hot rodders n antiquers... the absolute best people in the world!

I will follow up with the specs n stuff on the 16 inch Coker Cl***ic radials tomorrow. Sorry to put it off...just now got back in from travelling all day.

Let me tell you this too...that I have had some doosey names come to me for tires over the years too.

Preciate the jokin just as much as I appreciate you guys gettin out there and making cars more fun for all of us!

    All the best,

Corky Coker....heck I can't even say it five times fast!

Gotta answer this one too quickly. Charley Card was a wonderful guy that started and got his name operating a restaurant downtown Chattanooga after the war(the big one). He did not have a cashier so he jus had a cigar box for customers to make their own change in... he trusted them and they trusted him....so he got the name Honest Charley. He started the first mail order speed shop in 1948 here in Chattanooga and operated it for a number of years. The white car was his Florida race car he set speed records with. Looks a little funky with the air dams etc but was a 1939 Ford. Really cool. Would love to know where it is today. My partner Mike Goodman and I started Honest back up four years ago after they went out of business in the late 80s early 90s. We are now back with a bang! Have you seen our Honest Charley motorcycle with the flathead 60 hp v8 engine? it is absolutely cooler than dang it! We have a great store too but would love to see any of the old Honest fans or customers. It is 1309 Chestnut Street next door to our Coker headquarters. Come see us!

    Drive em boys!
