I'm gonna wear that one out this weekend!

BTW, not that there is anything wrong with Firestone slicks... but, they just aren't the same as the old M&H's... and with all the Cacklefest cars being built, I think you would have a winner!

for what it's worth, my best friend when I was a kid was named Corky, it was his real given name, not a nickname. I haven't ran across any funny names myself, but you run across some unusual ones back in WV, old names that aren't used anymore.

  6. I agree with Root, thanks for your input, it has been both fun an informative.

The track record of your whitewalls still scares me however, use the search funtion here and see the old posts. Our little group REALLY wants vintage looking tires, be it whitewall or pie-crust that perform over THOUSANDS of miles.

Please let us know what is up, improvements to and tips on running your tires.

In the end, your customers need confidence in the rubber, like a kid on prom night!:D

The 16 inch radials are designed tubeless. The problem with putting that on the sidewall of the tire is that 16 inch rims are OFTEN...no...most often tube type. We cover all bases this way, and hate to have to say it but we cover the liability from dummies that never even think to see if their old original 16 inch rims would run tubeless. It has to do with the rim flange and taper at the bead seat.

So...if your rims run tubeless okay....
