I kind of think this is the greatest car ever right now.

yeah its crude and maybe even ugly....... but so pure...... I can't even take it.

That's fucking insane and I love it.

 

The engine ended up in a set of rails ( B/D ) that he ran in the
early 60's.

I remember that car from pics of show coverage in the East Coast little books from the 60s..badass then,badass now

 

You know, now that I am looking at it the car would not be bad at all if it were not for the scoops. I just can't focus on anything else. When you strip that and focus on the fact that it's a Channeled '32 with 5 spoke wheels out back and a ton of engine set back it's rules!!!!!

 

Looks like deaths doorsteps inspiration. I dig it.

 

Hahah, never noticed before you really can't hear my shift points...must be that Kick Ass Griner brake, it really shifts quick...back to the 32, I love it. Bob, looking forward to you building a car for the track...Seems me and Littleman spend more time at the track these days than the show field.

Yep, I have seen it in a little book also. It would be one from the early 60's.

Yeah its really dumb..... but I get a kick out of it...

32 fords have become so out of touch, and they have such an elitist following that its refreshing to me..... It was built when 32 fords were just Hot Rods.

That 5 window has your name written all over it. You can name it (BIP BOP BLEED).......

 

How is this car not traditional? Sure there are jerks who put wierdness on their car for a gimmick or something...... but I believe this guy thought he was going to go faster with that crazy shit. I don't think it was a gimmick at all. In his mind it was nessasary. Thats why its so cool.

I mean, I don't want to build it.... I just like looking at it..... It makes me smile.

The guy who drove that car is a bad motherfucker. No doubt about it.

No one in their right mind would build this car today..... I couldn't do it.

I would like to race it though..... or have a car that could hang with it.....

I could have a club with that guy called the Bad Motherfuckers..... haha


I have hope and dreams of my own little coupe, but it really has nothing to do with this.... (Its going to be a 5 w now though...... the 3 w turned into a honda element)

I'm sure tomorrow I'll find some other picture that sparks my imagination and there will be a new greatest car ever....... but for now this might be it.

I too LOVE the funkiness of early hot rods. I'm just not into perfection. I look forward to seeing whatever you come up with. Also wheelies are FUN!
