On another Forum a guy by the name of Taylor is taking his 62 409 Chevy to a nostalgia drag race in Sydney this weekend. Will there be a contingent of HA/GR's there also? If so take lots of pictures and post them.:) Roy

I was busy with the cars so I didn't get a chance to play cameras.... I'm sure Hotrodmatt will post some review photo's soon...with plenty of HA/GR cars to show...

Here's a few clips that might be of interest...

Monday night (Sydney time) I'll have them up. Sorry about the delay, it's end of year, my pockets are hurting and getting stuff to publisheers has been a priority.

I'm sitting here with ice all over the trees and house, so it is great that somebody is racing. It will be nice to see some photos of some people having fun. Was this a 1/4 mile or 1/8 mile race? You guys are ahead of us by a day and a season. Hope that there was a big turnout of HA/GR's.:)Roy

  5. 1/4 mile, under a 'nostalgia' based meet.

I think we had about 10 HA/GR cl*** cars racing.

Hopefully Matt will tune in abit later today with some pics, as I know he was giving his camera a fair work over.....

    Cheers,

Absolutely great pictures and it shows that the HA/GR people in Oz Trail Ya are really getting with the program. WE need to get ourselves organized and really have several meets in which 10 or more of us show up. If they are doing it across the Pacific we can do it here. I for one will go to as many SDRA meets as I can and if Ron gets KCIR to let us race we can have another HA/GR race besides MO-Kan:)Roy

    Roy,
Didn't get back to you on filling the block cause Karen was out of town and couldn't get back in town due to the ice storm between here and Illinois. I'll talk to her tomorrow and email you.

Rand Man is sending pictures and info to me on some of the HA/GR cars and I'll put together a folder to present to Rob Park @ KCIR. I'm hopeing all the guys will send the pictures/info so Rob will see we're a serious group. Without serious group representation I'm afraid we don't stand much of a chance. The guys from Australia and New Zealand need to be included also since any favorable NHRA ruling in the US could effect them also.

  10. Ron, whilst lifes pretty hectic at the moment, I'll try to collect all our cars details soon, as I need to update our oz site with fresh info/photo's/videos etc, so, will try and sort something out soon.
