hey everyone. i'm new to this whole rat rodding thing even though i've always looked at them at car shows i never knew i was going to own an old truck rat rod. its not really a true rat but its still pretty sweet. i just got it on tuesday and i'm already having fun finishing it off before i get it inspected and registered and start driving it to school. its a 1966 F-100 Shortbed Fleetside Custom Cab with a 429 from a 1970 mercury murauder and a rebuilt C6 ******. i just recently put a new holley 600cfm carb on it and it needs a new starter because my step dad fried it trying to start it because the old carb wasnt giving it any gas... but yeah thats about it right now. it needs paint and a starter and ill be good to go cant wait! thanks for the truck Nick, if you read this.
Welcome from the west side... (Ft Worth) Loose the "rat rod" it is not popular here. Change the word to "traditional" to get past many here.... I'm sure you will see and learn pleanty.... Jay
