I think I used to be on HAMB years ago, couldn't find my old account info so I just made a new one. My name is Pete McKay, retired city employee. Well, retired....I got laid off, my job vaporized and I just decided I'd worked enough anyway. Now-a-days I spend a lot fo time building plastic models for customers, everything from basic showroom stock cars to full fledged drag cars with more than $100 worth of detailing parts. I was a contest modeler from 1981 through 2001, in 2004 I had a stroke and spent a few years in rehab learning how to use my hands again. In 2009 my city job disappeared with the beginning of the budget crisis, ever since I've been doing OK with Social Security Disability and a wonderful wife that works her tail off. I have been checking to see if this site has a dedicated model car section, I think I have seen some cars on here but nothing with it's own section. If so if someone could link me it would be greatly appreciated.
