I`m John " Gevo " Giovannini from Seneca Falls , N.Y. I`m the owner of Gevo`s Rears & Gears . I have a few cars , 30 model A sedan ( just the body so far ) , 38 chevy sedan , 48 chevy P.U. , 51 chevy woody wagon , 55 pontiac safari.
Hey I know those cars well. Most of them are at my place. Glad you signed up and for everyone this is the guy to get your rears and gears from. THE BEST!
Just 2 of them at your place .( maybe a 3rd on the way ) Thats what you get for having so many garages . LOL
No , I had the car built at Marty`s Chop shop .It was completed in 1999 .It did take a couple of trip`s to the Good Guys Nats ( Low Lid pick in 2000 ). Maybe you saw it there .
I walk by your Rhinebeck Swap Meet display every year, you'll be the guy that I get my nine inch parts from when I get to that part of the build. Bob
We rebuild and restore rearends from 1955 to present. We can build you a complete rear or rebuild yours .We also have many hard to find rearend parts , 57-64 olds/pontiac , 55-64 chevy ,GM 10 and 12 bolts , ford , mopar , some AMC . I have aprox. 400 rears laid out behind my shop. I`m a Yukon and Moser dealer.
Thanks . I`m sure i`m going to need expertise from fellow members on my next build.. As my good friend 3030 said after I bought the model A body , " you`ve had a lot of street rods , now you`ve got a hot rod."
.....Your friend summed it up pretty well and welcome again to the HAMB, probably the best traditional hot rod site to be found. Oh yeah, and Customs as well.
