Long time lurker, just doing the intro-- Finished restoring a 1959 Chris Craft boat last year and a 1965 Vette the year before that, but always looking around for something to customize. Fascinated with metalworking and would like to build a custom car one day, but I will probably build a wooden speedboat before that happens. I have a cool 40's art-deco design in mind. I own a custom tile & stone company and get to design and install stuff now and then, but I mainly do the paperwork and scheduling these days. I gotta say that there are some amazing artisans on the board.
Welcome fellow Austin-ite! Come on out to Giddyups from 12-6 this weekend, for the VooDoo Dolls CC, Toys for Tots Benefit, and you'll get to meet a ton of your fellow HAMBers!
Welcome from Oregon coast!!! I agree with you regarding the HAMB. I can't wait till I get home from work to check it out!
Your story is ringing a bell. Did you hang out with us for a bit in the HouseOspeed booth during last year's Round-Up? Good to see you on our favorite blog. Cameron P.S. We're going to be needing some tiling in the future. Maybe you can refer someone good.
Hey Cameron!! You guys had the BEST stuff! I found a use for one of the chrome skulls I got from you---I chopped it up and made it a hood ornament: Hey now---we rock with the tile, check us out & let me know: http://rocksolidflooring.net/specialtyjobphotos.html
