Take your time sir! You'll never feel the same. Lost ole dad in 1976. Still think about him often. Don't rush it. Let your feelings dictate your moves.
Isn't a bitch when you take some time off and come back and find the place has been running smoothly without you while you were gone..... that just goes to show you built a good place to begin with.
When my father died 8 years ago I was completely floored for one week, I could not work or even leave the house. After that week I felt so much stronger, having realized that my father will always be with me whatever I do. I am sure you will feel the same after some time.
Hang in there boss. Take as much time as you need and don't rush coming back. This place isn't going anywhere and will be here when you get back. I know you're hurting right now, but in time the pain will ease. I've been where you are and it is a tough row to hoe. Great to hear from you Ryan. Day by day...step by step...it's very tough. I still have those days where it's hard and I'm hurting, but I seem to be able to get through, and you will too.
