Event Coverage Hey! Let's Go To Gene Winfield's Place !!!!

OK...so I'm getting lazy....these were from two days ago and I'm late in getting these posted.
Gene had his annual "open house" at his shop out in Mojave. Lots of cool cars and neat people.
Besides Gene, there was Bill Hines, George Barris, Blackie Gejeian, and even Don Prudhomme and Roland Lelong, and who knows who I didn't see.
There was a great auction raising some cash for two of Gene's favorite charities. 100% of every dollar spent went to the charities.
Lots of pin stripers, fabricators, etc.....

So, here's some random photos added as the evening goes on....

That would be something cool to hang out at. Must have been awe inspiring to walk amongst all that talent.

While shooting the breeze with some of the guys, one of the stripers laid some lines on my Nikon for me....
Now...who's gonna have the coolest camera at the "California Hot Rod Reunion" this weekend????

This is a very limited edition Gene Winfield guitar being played by a guitarist in the Big Earl and the Cryin' Shames band. Note the chrome guard in the shape of Gene's logo, the louvers and the fade paint job.

Great job on the pics! It was a great day to be there. A lot of cars, weather was great and it was a lot of fun to hang out with living legends.
It would take a day just to see everything in the "junkyard", A couple of hours just doesn't do it!
