I am new to the H.A.M.B., and to the fourm, but old to the hobby. I live in north central Ohio, am in my mid fifties, and was recently "reduced" (thankfully) out of the business world due to Chineese imports. I am now semi retired, and loving it! I have been a car guy forever, back in the day, was my day. We have a 1934 Chevy Master 2 dr, 1933 Willys, 1956 Ford Fairlane "Vicky" and matching 1956 camper, 1960 Ford Ranchero, 1929 Mercedes replicar (Gazelle). I am lucky to have a Wife who shares the hobby, and owns two of the cars we have. I am greatfull to have a 21 yr old Son who owns and has built a 1950 Buick old school rod that is way cool! My current project is a 1933 Willys of a different style than is normally seen. It is a streched altered wheel base, Radir WW pie pan slicks w/torque thrust D's on the rear, 32 Ford front suspension, open front fenderless car, old school small block Chevy (lots of finned stuff), zoomies, wheelie bars, and chute. It will be (of course) flat black w/red scallops. The goal is to create a vintage looking altered drag car, but for the street. When at Goodguys events or other such gatherings, we will pass up dozens of "Boyd Foosington" type cars, to get to home built old school type cars. That style of car, always stays in style!!!
