Just checked the old thread "The Martian". Apparently the father has been in and out of the hospital with first a hernia and then a heart attack. So work on the Fiat has been slow. Hope everyone can stay healthy so the work can continue. I donated parts to the auction and wold love to see it on the track also.
Sorry guys, No Martian this year. With Dads heart attack and other medical issues we put all the project cars on hold. I do have some good news, In the last couple of months Dad has been coming to the shop and doing some light work. He is still crying about being tired but he is feeling better.
Pooch, Hope your dad continues to improve. Cars can wait, his health is much more impotant. If there is any progress down the road with the martian please keep us posted.
Damn man, sorryto hear about your dad. My dad managed to tear a double hernia out on the truck, and has been out of commision for the last 2 1/2 months. Good news is, in that time he found a pretty sweet 52 chevy that was mostly restored, and broke down and bought it! Hope we get to see you guys soon!
Good to hear your Dad's coming around, Pooch! Look me up at the drags so we can talk---I wanna get my hands on the Martian over the winter maybe.....I've been talking to Norwell, and you know that always means trouble!
Thanks, I will find you at the drags. I have a few ideas cooking too. I think I see a light at the end of the tunnel. I hope it isnt another train.
