    Hi
Been lurking around the site for a while now so thought it was about time I joined up and introduced myself.
My names Gavin and I live in Birmingham in the UK.
I have been into old cars for as long as I can remember thanks to the influence of my dad and uncle. They have both had rods and customs over the years so it was inevitable that I would follow in their footsteps. My dad also used to crew for a mate of his on a front engined dragster back in the late 80's and used to take me along. I will never forget the first time I saw fuel funny car's running. Talk about blowing a kids mind!
I have had a fair few cars over the years, most of which have been modified British Fords, ie Anglias, Zephyrs etc, but I have always had a p***ion for traditional rods and for the history of hot rodding. (My Don Montgomery books are like my bibles!)
I started to build this 32 roadster a few years ago but for various reasons it never got finished. There were no real period correct parts on it as it was a real budget build but it had the 'look' I was aiming for. ie early 50's.

After that I bought this 55 Fairlane which I loved but was just too big to be a practical daily on our British roads so sold it last year.

This is my current ride. It's a 58 Ford Consul running a 2.9 V6, independant front and 8 inch rear end and has been 2 doored and hard topped. Not very HAMB friendly but it's a cool daily.

Currently I am looking to buy a traditional rod. Most likely an A coupe so watch this space.....
    Anyway thats me....
    Thanks
