My name is Doug....I guess you could call me a newbie geezer..... as best I can guess, my addiction to wrenches, grease and motor oil began when I was a little guy hanging out at my Grandpa's service station (yeah, the kind with a grease pit and a wash rack - anyone remember those?). That was one of my favorite places to be....hangin with Grandpa, he hung the moon---REALLY! A lot of years have gone by, and I still like messin with my old cars better than most anything. AND I can tell you I am an EXPERT on how not to do it (from experience! ) Lookin forward to talkin with you guys and gals!
Thanks for the warm reception! I am up in North Carolina..... An old buddy of mine (RIP Thumper) used to say "If you ain't bleedin, you ain't really mechanicin!".......I can say if bleeding is a qualification....I might just make it!
