Anyone got any old 50's eastcoast rodshop logos from the 50's?.I am in the uk but i'm building an eastcoast style truck (35 ford),it's nearly done but i want to add a rodshop logo to finish off the primer. Can anyone out there help?it must be 50's though.................Mad Marq
How about southeast, uh, coast? Birmingham, Alabama, to be exact. These are all copies of stuff from Pinstriper, whose dad and uncles started Rocco and Cheaters in 1946! Enjoy! Steve
Marq, If you have sign written the word"Pennsylvania ", make sure its spelt right as I seem to remember a pickup in UK with sign written doors that have it mis-spelt ! (or do the locals spell it different ?)
It's ok chris no problems i have that song by the famous glen miller so it should be on the back of an album.Gotta say though Chris i still love your A and me trucks really coming on now.....................Mad Marq
Keep them coming,i need some real clear pictures if possible but those are nice period shots...........anymore?...........Mad Marq
Not a shop, but maybe you could do something with the Cecil County dragway logo...here's one I swiped from the Mooneyes site...
Sorry...Cecil County is in Maryland...about 40 minutes north of Baltimore. I don't really know the history, but I know it's been around for a loooong time so you could definitely get away with a 60's style push truck or something....hope this helps!
Yeah thats kinda kool but keep em coming you guys,it would help when you put a sign on the board to tell me what state the place is in and if you can town or city,it's a bit like you guys who get confused with our counties here in the uk your states are far more confusing to us we only know Florida and a few others it's mind blowing seeing as the uk is only a 1000 miles long it's hard to get a handle on a country thats so big.I must say though we have roads that make up for it where as yours are straight ours wind twice the length to go the same distance, just as well i like corners..................Mad Marq

[/ QUOTE ] I never went to Cecil county Dragway but did go to Aquasco a couple times in the mid 60's. I'll have to dig the pics out that I took;remember seeing Malcolm Durham's,"Strip Blazer IV" when the body was still in the process of being stretched, the Ramchargers Dart was there,Gene Mori with the "CheVWagen".I was stationed at Patuxent River at the time.Just before I left they had started construction on a strip around Leonardtown. Was it Budd's Creek?
That sounds bloody fantastic safariknut, put up some pics if you can please, also tell me exactly what state and town it's in it will help with my truck advertising lol...................Mad Marq
