    hey cats im coming outta socal and im new to all this high tech **** with message boards and stuff!! anyway ive been having problems with my car ('93 honda del sol) so im thinking about selling it and getting something i really want!! a buddy of mine knows a guy whose selling his '50 Plymouth! it runs fine apart from a busted radiator and flat cokers. if anyone knows of a good radiator that would fit in the plymouth lemme know!! my guess would be a ford or chevy?? i dunno??:confused:

    Welcome to the HAMB. re-cored? He means having the top & bottom tank removed from the radiator & replacing the middle part. Start calling radiator repair shops & ask if they can repair the radiator.

Having the original radiator recored is one option, but before going to that expense, I'd head to the junkyard with a tape measure and check out radiators in later model full-size pickups, you'll probably find something pretty close to the dimensions of what you have. Of course, pay attention to location and size of upper and lower hose connections as well as dimensions. My basic philosophy of life is that there is an affordable junkyard solution to dang near anything.

    I'm not gonna vote, and you can't make me. But welcome from colorado any way. Oh and get rid of that hondog, and into the plymouth as soon as possible. And keep it early traditional 50s style if you please ...ghost
