Hey everyone. I've been on here for a while, but I figured it was about time I signed up. I'm 21 and live in Vancouver B.C. I've been into cars my whole life, muscle cars when I was younger, turning into rods and customs as I grew up. I never got into the whole teal green with pink stripes thing though. Maybe I was too young, who knows. I bought my baby about 3 years ago. It looked like it does in the picture with the flames. I realize now that I have no good pictures of it with new paint. Since that picture it's got mouldings and lake pipes (functional of course) I drove it unchanged for a while then decided I wanted to try bodywork. If I get another "You should put a star on the side" comment... Anyways, 4 months sanding, black and white with a silver pearl in the roof and a month polishing turned out pretty decent. The interior's next, which is going to be pretty sweet. I'm planning on swapping the original motor for a later 235 with a 4 speed and notch the rear. It's already bagged in the back but needs to be redone. Limited space and no other car to drive right now are slowing those plans a little. But, I believe that if you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself. Anyways, I'm glad to finally be part of this place. Lots of good info. Deke
