    Just discovered this site and here's my introduction. I'm a car enthusiast for over 40 years with a principle interest in cars from the 30's 40's and 50's. I prefer originality over hotrodded cars but I do have an appreciation just the same for well done rods. Hi everyone.

    Long gone are the days when a decent car could be had for $100.

    Welcome from West Texas! I hear you about decent cars with decent prices. I worked in a service station in the 60's and could buy cars for $15-75 that were driven in and parked. (It didn't hurt that the bus station was just across the street!)
