I had to replace the timing cover on this engine and could only find a 1963 4 bolt water pump to match the cover I took off. The only differenc I saw on the two covers was where the cork seal pushes up against the lip of the timing cover. seems to exten out an additional 1/4 inch futher than my 1962 timing cover. The cork seal is spring loaded and it seem to seat ok. Question I have will this be a problem later down the road or do I need to make any changes?
