Check Dupont, I think they have one that sets up with UV.

I have worked for 3M for year and we never made roll on primer. PPG was really pushing it about 6 years ago. They sell the rollers etc at most PPG jobbers. Techs liked the fact you didn't need to mask the car off to prime a spot. Others felt the primer left a "cliff edge" that was hard to feather. If you are into it give it a try. Good Luck

I have some Valspar primer that can be rolled on already, just looking for some hi build stuff. I'm working on a p**** at a time and wanted to prime as I go.

  7. The PPG stuff works good. We use it at school all the time. More orange peel than spray on, but no loss to overspray. We've done some large areas as tests and it worked as well as any.

  8. Just wondering if you can roll it on why couldn't you just do just as good of a job with a brush. With the right brush it might be smoother and easier to sand.

squeezey prime, or something to the effect. was like putting on thinned glaze putty,

for a full panel, just spray it

I've used it in a pinch, and I think it works very well in the proper context. Saves time masking, and no overspray!
But you do have to sand it carefully to feather it in.
