Hello all,I've been noodling around this site for a while now. I figured it was finally time to join. Been a car junkie my whole life, pretty much able to admire anything, although new plastic junk, tuner type rigs, and over-smoothed 'modern' style street rods don't really blow my hair back. I guess that's why I'm on this site right? I've got a '66 Plymouth Valiant hardtop blown all over the garage that's getting a straight axle and a tunnel-rammed small block,a '27 T coupe in the yard awaiting it's turn (but it may get skidded in favor of an A or T p/u,or maybe even a bucket),and a recently aquired '59 Ford Country Sedan station weapon. The wagon is the only one in the group that runs,or is even close for that matter, apart from the daily. That's about it,I look forward to learning from you all,and hopefully I can contribute something as well.

Thanks, yup about the chrome,I do luckily have some spare stuff. I thought mid 60's Mopar parts were hard to find, nobody seems to have parts for this thing, but it's complete, and a runner, and a pile o' fun.

Hi there in Canada, EH ? This is RIP Rohring in Buffalo, NY (aka baha Toronto). . . My gal and I will be traveling to Saskatoon this fall (when cruisin' season winds down). New ROOLS since 9-11 - as ofJune 1, 2009 we had to get ENHANCED driver's licenses (just a wee bit cheeper than a passport) in order to get back into the USA.. I am a NEW GUY TODAY - so now you guys are "old timers" . . .
    And Welcome. . .
    RIP

The family and I are headed 'tother direction in 3 weeks or so,Sandusky Oh to see the biggest roller coaster park in the freakin' world or something. I hear ya on the border biz,we have to have passports (even the 11 year old),so much for 'the world's longest undefended border'. You driving a rod to Saskatoon? And what the the hell brings a guy from Buffalo to Saskabush, you scouting for the Bills or something(ha ha,just jokes)

Thanks guys. I do have my work cut out, especially since I'm knee-deep in rust repair on the Valiant, and have NO idea what I'm doing.
