Hi,, name is Joe.. from central Connecticut.. retired 2 years now and have been busier now than when I was working.. I've be a rodder for over 30 years.. my original love was a 23 T bucket I had all thru the 70's and 80's (should have never sold it !!) was pre "Total Performance".. and under the black paint was a turquoise metal flake body.. My lastest (and hopefully not my last ride is my precious 1931 Chev Coach. Bought bare frame and body shell 12 years ago !!.. took a while to complete... finished it (really never finished)....last year. My very talented nephew painted it this fall.. and am now having an interior put in it.. (Wonder is Roger is reading this ?) The car actually came out much better than I ever expected.... runs great.. and I drive it where-ever and when- ever I can.. it definely isn't going to sit in my garage and collect dust. Here is a pic.. (with my grandson Jake) taken on the day I got it started .. it is painted now a Nissan Smoke Grey (I'll enclose a pic on my next post) Chev runs a 305 sb chev (taken from a 79 Impala).Mild cam.. ...570 Holley 4bl, 350 auto, 10 bolt chev rear.. older Bell axle front end.. glad I found this site.. thanks joeg
Hi Joe, I am from Mudville, also. I think you will find the most knowledgeable group of people on this site. Reading the posts everyday is like going to school and learning things from all over the country and world. Later, Ray in CT
