Hey guys, just introducing myself from CT. I'm more of a muscle car person, but ever since I've discovered g***ers I've become more interested in the older stuff.
Greetings from the State of M***. I've been through sports cars, trucks, muscle cars, bikes, etc. but am now on a strictly Model A diet (30-31).I think I have more fun in my banger 31 roadster than anything else(although I just sold a Tudor with a 302/ 4 spd. setup that was nice to cruise the highway in.) they're ALL good; taste changes with time and availability ( tin and dough) G***ers are always cool- I'm old enough to have been around for the 60's G***er Wars, and it was great. Main thing -have fun! Mike from M***.
Not sure which "Tax State" you're asking about but M***. sure qualifies(Taxachusetts)I'm right up near the N.H. border;Newburyport area in a little one pump town called Byfield ( sneeze and you'll miss it).First car was a 40 Ford coupe with a 56 Olds/ tri power setup that leaked gas all over my old man's lawn.I was 15 when I got it (50 years ago) and I paid $150 for it.Yes I wish I still had it! Happy Motoring- Mike
Wow some of you guys are pretty close. I actually head up to the Bridgewater Fair every year. Just a quick question for you CT guys: Have you had any luck finding any old cars in decent shape in CT? I've searched around but I've only found there are not too many good deals around here.
