Hi from Michigan

Hi,
I'm new to this type of car fun. I have always played with mostly stock vehicles. I thought I would try to understand the in's and out's of adding and subtracting componets. I am getting into this like a rookie. I have always been more of a replace the parts type guy, not trying to figure out what will and will not fit. I think it will be a definite challenge, so bear with me on probably more than one stupid question. I will have this car delivered in a week or so. A 1951 chevy belair. It has a 350 and 350 tranny. A 10 bolt 390 posi, 4 wheel disc brakes. It seems to set awfully high. I'll have some questions about that when I can get under it and see just what I'm dealing with. Money is going to be tigh so it may take awhile to get it close to what I feel it should be. Your site and participants are full of valuable info. and I am glad I found it. Nice looking car Lon. Did you get all the parts with it to put it back together? It's alway fun putting something together you did not take apart. Best of luck with it and welcome to the site.

 

Welcome to the HAMB from Lovely Livonia. Look for post with the term "GMB" in them which means something is going down in Michigan. There will probley be a get-together (meet & greet) at both Frankenmuth next weekend and the NSRA Kzoo event the following weekend.
