Hi, my name is Grant, born 1950,in Gisborne, New Zealand. (south pacific) I was very young (about 10) when I saw my first hot rod, it was the neighbours, teenage son's 1934 ford V8, cut down to a fenderless roadster, and I have been hooked ever since. I have built numerous rods, both for myself and my two sons. At present I own a rodded/lowrider 1937 Nash LaFayette 400. Cheers, Grant.
Hey Grant. Welcome to the Hamb! I'm from Australia, so if you ever need a hand with whatever, let me know!
Hi, Im live in Tauranga, situated on the east coast of the north island of New Zealand. Two and a half hours south of Auckland, driving time.
Grant, welcome from the cultural center of the Universe, Oklahoma. Always good to have another Kiwi on board. You might want to check out the Old Farts Club, remember to wear your thick skin.
Wow, another dude with a 37 Nash, another dude who lived in Gisborne, another dude who lives in Tauranga..... Welcome along Grant. Trust all is well with you Cheers Todd
G***er Todd, who let you in here? ha ha Yeah, we are almost twins, (Gisborne, Tauranga, 1937 Nash) How is progress on your Nash? When will we see it on the road?
It's about time you found this site Harry , you'll have a great time here thats for sure. And welcome from another Gisbornite and the Sunny Gold Coast.
My Nash is off getting its panel work done then its off for paint. Had to downsize the rear rubber so its on 235/75/15s now to stay under the guards. 3 inch whitewall, Goodyears I think, but they would have to be the ugliest tyres I have ever owned. Whitewall sticks out about a 1/3rd inch from the main tyre. Car still on steel chromies, still on whitewalls and still going to be purple. But no wheel spats for me
