Hi all! I would like to introduce myself. My name is Tyler Lancaster. I'm kind of a beginner in the restoration world. I have a 54 plymouth savoy that I was given as a gift from my grandmother. Gonna be my first project car and I'm really exited to dig into it. Nice to meet you all!!
Thanks! I've already learned a ton from this site. I've been reading the boards for the last couple months.
Farmer12 I just spent about 2 hours reading your build thread. Amazing work! Makes me realize how much work/fun I have ahead of me. I'm going to start tearing down my plymouth in the beginning of october and hopefully spend a good part of winter working on it. Thanks for the inspiration to get going on it!
Thank you Tyler. Work methodically, learn and be patient, those are the words I live by. (and don't forget to enjoy yourself) Good luck with your Plymouth.
Glad to see ya here..from Omaha but originally from Oregon..relatives live over the mountain in Medford area...
Thanks guys!! nice to see some people locally and originally from here on this board! I've been reading and looking at so much info on this site that I think my head might explode! I've got some really good ideas for my plymouth!

hey Eric! Glad to see someone else from Oregon on here. I have just started tearing into my plymouth. Its been ugly. about 40 years of field mice destruction going on in the interior. Gonna be a long winter but at least I have a project to keep me busy through the next couple months. Eventually when I get more time at home I will start a build thread. Ty
