    Hi everyone,

As a kid everything that came from the US was cool: bmx, skateboarding, music, surfing, you name it. Then I saw the ZZ Top '33 Ford and decided I would never drive anything but american iron. These days I've got 2 Chevy trucks and a '54 Ford Customline tudor.

Bought the Customline few years ago in California. Stored it at a friends house and went back to Europe.

The next year I decided it would be a great idea to take my new girlfriend on a 4 week road trip through California in a, more than 50 year old, car. So we drove it for 4000 miles from LA via route 66 to Vegas up to Lake Tahoe, San Fran and back down on PCH.

We ran out of fuel near Point Reyes (turns out there are no gas stations near the fault line that runs right through it). We almost ran out of oil due to a rear main seal leak while we where p***ing Death Valley. Luckily some old hotrodders in Beatty NV helped us out. We where back on the road the next day.

Last year I had the car shipped home and look forward to drive it all across Europe.

Anyway, this place seems to have so many great people and great info, that I couldn't resist and signed up.
