A lot has happened since the last posting on here. Spent some time traveling looking for parts..... for the '39 ford and a '56 Ford Ranchwagon two door. The Ranchwagon is next on the build roster. I also sold the Yard Art to a great new owner from Bakersfield, California who is showing it and winning awards already. The '53 is in new hands now too with a new paint job and some nice new details.... It looks great! the owner loves it and drives it all over. I see it all the time and he knows I'm the builder, makes me feel good it went to a good home. The '39 ch***is complete now that the dyno's engine is in place with the dyno'd transmission hooked to a Currie 9 inch rear. The ch***is is just to nice to cover with the body now! Hate to cover it up! I see that there many new member on board and I welcome each one. I'll get some pictures on here soon. geno
Welcome back Geno! Looking forward to seeing more of your new rides. I really loved your '53, sounds like it is in good hands. Did it get a completely different color?
Geno , glad to see you back again ! I was also out for a while too but due to hand surgery and I couldn't type . I am happy to hear your 53 went to a good home and you still get to see it running up and down the roads sometimes . Jim
Thanks guys, I missed talking to you all. The '53 looks really nice, he stayed with the light blue all over the car... sure looks good! I'm collecting parts for the Ranchwagon already. I have a 351C with a C-6 and a Currie 9 inch so far waiting in the wings.
With the 351-C and C-6 being larger please post pictures of the swap and parts used and post to the "sticky" thread: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/group.php?do=discuss&group=&discussionid=18186
