I am a new old member from South Central New York. I grew up in the 50s and 60s around the area drag strips, Tri-Cities, Cicero, and Pocono Drag Lodge. I found this site by looking up information on the old area drag strips. I raced a 1966 Corvette coupe and 1967 Chevelle SS at Cicero. I have been building a 1956 Ford f100 panel truck with a Volare clip, Chevy 350, turbo 350 and a Ford 9inch rear. I hope to get my paint shop friend to put a paint job on it before my surviving heirs have to decide the color. I did my own frame/front clip, drive train and body work.
