  1. I would say Shawn newbie, but i like the ring of my own last name instead. -Groovy huh?
Ok, I play guitar, I had a band called King Flush & The Toilets, I like to hunt, fish, shoot, cook, eat and fart. I really like chics with big (long) noses. I like big ol' juggs too. My favorite woman in the whole world is Blossom. I'd like to bite her fuckin' nose.
I am gonna mention music, i.e. Rock-n-roll, because that's a MAJOR part of car & truck coolness. The Cars. They have reformed and have Todd Rungren in the driver's seat. He sounds like Ric Ocassek did.
The new lineup is called The New Cars. No joke. They are awesome.
Also, Journey. Doesn't "Any way you want it" make you hit the gas pedal? Steve Perry has a great nose, but he's a guy. Damn!
Anyhow, there was someone there before him that hardly anyone knows about. Robert Fleischman was their original front man in 1977.
Talk about some good kick ass drivin' tunes! He wrote and originally did "Wheel in the sky".Getting back on track with automotive stuff itself, I have a 2001 Toyota Tundra. The engine is a Lexus platform. Pics real soon.
I have a couple of dreams thatI will actively pursue in my lifetime, which is why I joined here.
My Dad left me a 1971 Monte Carlo. When I was 22, I fucked around and sold it. It was blue with a white hardtop. My Dad bought it in 1972 and stripped off that black vinyl top as soon as it rolled up. He then used Sears white enamel refrigerator paint, and did the top after prepping. When I got it in 1989, that top still glowed. Of course, it was carport/garage kept.
I plan to get another, paint it the '71 MC blue and do the top the same way. 5" OR 6" roundyellow fog lights on front bumper. Unlike dear old (late) Dad, Leather camaro seats, Rhino liner used in place of carpet, pass thru back seat, B&M floor shifter, stainless dual exhaust.
Power Train specs: Pontiac 400. GTO setup. Big Edelbrock 4 barrel, no tri-power.
Distributor, Davis Unified Ignition. (DUI) HEI setup. A must.
GM 1 wire alternator, another must.
GM & Ford have joined forces on several models of a 6 speed automatic transmission. Let's go for that. Drive smooth and savin' gas even with the Goat setup.
Ok, that's 2 legends combined, top that off with all stainless disc brakes, a Ford 9" setup and a stainless gas tank to handle both gas and E-85 and you got somethin' better than Islam!

Now to balance things, I started a project that I didn't finish and I will try again. On the other end of things, let's call it "Shawn's little homosexual car".

1974 pinto with 22 R Totota engine and auto trans. GM 1-wire alt. Davis HEI for Toyota. Trans am grey leather seats, Rhino on top and bottom of interior.
    Stainless exhaust & fuel tank.
Racing guages on flat face aluminum dash.
Stainless 4 wheel disc brakes and Mustang II suspension.
    Paint? Plum crazy dark purple.

I am contemplating getting a dangerous high paying job in Iraq, so while I am paying off my house, I will build a dome home on some property in the Greenville, SC area.

There are many opportunities to work in the Persian Gulf, and I am also looking at a strong possibility of working in a tool cage. Location Germany. -Pays the same thing, $80,000 to $365,00 per year.
Germany has chics with big noses, too. -Crunch!

Currently, I work at a toll booth. It pays real good and my job consists of taking a dollar and getting quarters shoved up my ass. Sometimes, it's fun.

If and more like when the above mentioned job comes along, if I don't get my nuts blown off, both the *2 legends combined MC* and my *little homosexual car* will become a reality, real fast.

    So there you have it.
Stainless gas tank ideas anyone? (external fuel pump, carburated)
    Shawn

TMI. Pinto? While I applaud your mechanical ability, this isn't a Pinto forum.

  3. That bit of info was simply to indicate what my "grocery getter" as well as what the "service car" for the Monte Carlo would be.
It may well be a TMI, I was looking at it as extra info offered.
Kinda like the little bit of coleslaw and sprig of parsley that comes with a cheeseburger platter.:p
