Hi there, i´m Dario Read, from Argentina. I´m a HotRod enthusiastic, especially Old School.... i been reading about hot rods since a was a child and finally i started my own proyect. First of all, you have to know that in Argentina it is very dificult to find or buy original HotRods parts, that increase the budget and schedule dramatically. I have a ´31 ford roadster, here a short review of the work... Original ford A frame, modified motor mounts, dropped rearcrossmember. Original Ford truck axle (modified), split wishbone, modified F1 shock mount, modified gear box, pitman arm and drag link. The engine is a ´47 Ford Flathead, original 3 speed gear box and torque tube/drive shaft tailored to a model A frame. the next stage of the proyect is the body, ´32 Ford shell /insert, seats, top frame and top. here a few pics, feel free to ask or help with your experience.
