Here are some pics of the chop that Henry has been working on. He is pretty close to being done with the chop, working on the garnish moldings now.

I have another update, Henry has the chassis dialed in and this is the finished ride height. I think it is spot on perfect. Henry cleaned up the rear area where the license plate goes and rebent the exhaust and tucked it in between the frame and the gas tank. You can barely see it under the frame horns. The headlights have also been mounted. I can't thank Henry enough for what he has done for me.

Seems like nothing makes people madder than a 'Mad Rake'!
Looks to be standin' on its nose...most of my cars had that stance, I was known for it.

Looks great. I really like the exhaust tucked nice and tight. Stance is really cool. Is Henry finished?

He is pretty much finished with the outside bodywork, he has to install the wood and get the glass cut to fit. He is also going to install the top kit for the roof and make me a really cool trans cover for around the shifter. He has some other small stuff yet to do also.

I went to Steadfast today to look at the work that Henry has done on my car. It was such a nice day we put it outside and I took some pics. It is coming together even better than I could have imagined. To me it sure has "the look" that Henry told me he would achieve. He is amazing! I would also like to thank Henry's dad Ellis for all the work he has done also. Still a little work to do but it is almost there.

I am going to run it just like it is for this summer and maybe next. After that I am not sure what I want to do with it. I don't think it will have shiney paint, probably a flat color.

Nice transformation! Quite an improvement from your first pic in the thread.

Skip the flat paint.....don't do base coat, clear coat.....single stage gloss, and don't look back. If you go with flat paint, don't do clear flat over it. If you paint it single stage flat, and decide you want some gloss, you can buff it out to a gloss. That is what this buffed out flat maroon painted deuce sedan finally ended up with.

Looks great! With that rake, I bet you have to stop back a little further at red lights, just to see them.
